Analysis and Topology Optimization of New Brake Lever Design

Reimagining how mechanical design meets manufacturability — this project explored a new brake lever concept optimized through Altair Inspire. By merging Design for Manufacturing and Assembly principles with Topology Optimization, we cut material use by 7836 mm³ without compromising strength. The result: a lighter, cleaner, and smarter mechanism built around compliant design. Future iterations aim to bring this digital model to life through 3D printing and functional testing — where simulation meets motion.
